A Headless Storefront Built for an Editorial Fashion Brand

Harlow & Vance, a premium fashion retailer, needed a storefront flexible enough to match their editorial merchandising style without sacrificing checkout speed or conversion.

1 The Challenge

Harlow & Vance had outgrown their templated storefront. The theme couldn't support the seasonal, editorial-style layouts their creative team wanted, page speed was suffering under high-resolution imagery, and checkout abandonment was well above industry benchmarks.

2 The Solution

We moved the storefront to a headless architecture — a custom React front end pulling from a commerce API, giving the creative team full control over layout without touching code. A rebuilt image pipeline and a streamlined, single-page checkout brought load times and drop-off both down significantly.
